Plesiolestes problematicus is a Paleocene species from the Bighorn Basin of Wyoming that probably belongs in a sister group to the Plesiadapiforms, the microsyopidae, or microsyopoidea. The illustration shows, especially in the crown view above, how extraordinarily like euprimates the anatomy of the premolars and molars is.
