Anchomomys is a very small-sized European Eocene adapoid primate. There are no complete skulls or associated skeletal parts of this primate, but notice how there is a large lower margin of the eyesocket, which reaches down very close to the upper tooth row. These proportions suggest that Anchomomys may have been nocturnal, because of the large orbital diameter.
